“We all want progress, but if you’re on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.”
-C.S. Lewis

The Bible says in Isaiah 28:10 that correct knowledge is gained by adding precept upon precept, here a little and there a little.  Also, in John 5:39, we see how the point of the Bible is to lead us to Jesus for eternal life.

Beliefs do not stand alone.  They are connected together like links in a chain.  As we establish basic principles, learning essential truths from God’s Word, we can connect them together to make sure we are on the right track for gaining a complete picture of what the Bible teaches – leading us to the focal point and theme of scripture: Jesus Christ.  If any doctrine does not uplift Jesus and add value to His sacrifice for us, then it doesn’t have a place in our chain of truth.

Truth Link materials and lessons always make a determined effort to show how truth is connected (after all, it’s in our name), not only to other doctrines and beliefs, but ultimately to Jesus Christ.
